👉🏼 Generally speaking your provider may recommend you stop using some more “active” ingredient skincare products like retinols or AHA type products a week out from your treatment, and of course staying out of the ☀️ sun.

💭 Reason is we want to reduce sensitivity while being able to treat your skin as optimized (aggressive 😉) as needed with the laser to get best results.

👉🏼 Ultimately provider will make personalized recommendation for you based on your own scenario and treatment.

Answer 👉🏼 We recommend scheduling these treatments the week of your event so your skin has that extra clean 🧼 glow.

And if you’ve NEVER had these treatments before, we do recommend getting your first one more “in advance” (shoot for 6 weeks or more out) just so you can experience the treatment initially and make sure your skin responds to it best 👍🏼
