Before your HydraFacial™, you will receive a complimentary consultation with our expert Aesthetician. We will identify the most suitable treatment and skincare products to help you reach your skincare goals and provide clear pre-treatment instructions, such as discontinuing using Retin-A topicals for three nights before your appointment.

What To Expect During a HydraFacial™ Treatment

While HydraFacial® can resolve many skin concerns, some facial rejuvenation goals, such as severe skin laxity, may require more aggressive cosmetic treatments to achieve an ideal outcome. Additionally, patients with certain types of skin irritation or damage in the treatment area, including sunburned skin, rosacea, and rashes, will likely need to complete a targeted pre-treatment protocol to ensure complete healing before undergoing this procedure.

Before Your Treatment

Stop retinol use 1 week prior to treatment, and exfoliating active ingredients like scrubs and acids 5 days prior.
Limit direct sun exposure for 72 hours prior to treatment. We cannot treat you if you are sunburned.

Hydrafacial works to bring impurities to the surface and remove them—you may experience slight purging after. This is a good sign that the treatment is hard at work!

SPF will be applied after your facial. Use SPF daily to protect your skin.

Your provider will make recommendations for a gentle skincare routine for approximately 1 week—no facial exfoliation.

Each treatment lasts between 45 and 60 minutes depending upon the customized needs of your skin. As with all great skin care, a treatment plan is designed with your primary needs in mind.
