  • Nurse Injector

    This position is part-time, moving to full- time as growth in patient base grows.
    POSITION: Nurse Injector
    DEPARTMENT: Coachlight Clinic
    REPORTS TO: Physician / Practice Administrator

    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing elective care for cosmetic concerns that can be reasonably treated with injection procedures. Duties include taking medical histories, performing assessments, and developing a treatment plan within their scope of practice for cosmetic patients and treatment administration as directed by their supervising physician.
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    1. Minimum of three years injecting experience of both neurotoxins and fillers.
    2. Graduate of accredited nursing program with current state license.
    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    1. Possesses wide-ranging knowledge of skin care treatment and pathology.
    2. Good problem solving and analytical skills.
    3. Excellent knowledge of dermatology and skin care treatment.
    4. Excellent communication skills.

    7. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    1. Primary Duties
    • Provides direct patient care as a representative of the physician, treating the patient in a style and manner developed and directed by the supervising physician and consistent with authorized practice as defined by state law.
    • Provide skin care assessments, recommend products and cross promote med spa and aesthetic services.
    • Responsible for the coordination and follow-up of all injectable procedures.
    • Maintains patient medical records includes consultation discussions, detailing all treatment procedures, elective products, medication history, email and phone communications and educational materials received. All documentation must be completed within 48 hours of patient’s appointment.
    • Tracks referral sources, sends thank-you letters to the source and existing patients as ways to build clientele and make the patient and the referral feel special. Use referral cards and promote discount/cross-selling opportunities to new and existing patients.
    • Maintain knowledge and understanding of all current and new injectable products as they change in the industry.
    2. Secondary Duties
    • Confirms with patients their clear understanding that a registered nurse is treating them.
    • Review with the supervising physician all delegated patient services on a regular basis, as well as mutually agreed guidelines for the practice.
    • Maintains treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with
    OSHA standards.
    • Maintains inventory-tracking system for all injectable products. Stocks inventory and supplies as needed.

  • Massage Therapist

    POSITION: Massage Therapist
    SUPERVISED BY: Spa Manager

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or the equivalent required
    • Have and maintain a current state license in massage therapy in Iowa
    • Minimum one year experience providing massage services in a salon or luxury spa environment
    • Proficient in all components of massage therapy, e.g., anatomy, physiology, body mechanics and various types of massage
    • Excellent personal appearance and communication skills with a friendly, congenial personality
    • Ability to work in a high-volume, busy service environment while maintaining composure and focus on the client
    • Computer/phone/typing experience required
    • Trustworthy and responsible
    • Excellent telephone etiquette
    • Warm, enthusiastic and hospitable personal manner
    • Good organizational skills and detail orientation
    • Confidence in abilities and experience in dealing with client relations
    • Ability to convey a positive attitude in all dealing with others, whether clients or staff members

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices
    • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa
    • Attend regular department meetings
    • Stay current on the latest thinking pertinent to the massage/body treatment department and become well-versed and trained in its application
    • Explain products and reasons for the prescribed body treatment to clients
    • Prepare massage equipment and supplies daily as directed
    • Maintain supply and treatment areas as directed
    • Submit supply requests to the Spa Manager in a timely fashion to ensure proper product availability for clients
    • Ensure a pleasant visit for each client and maintain effective client relations
    • Be a patient, courteous listener, and treat all sensitive personal medical information on clients in strictest confidence
    • Be knowledgeable and informed regarding all spa, general clinic and spa programs and services
    • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the massage and body treatment areas and spa facilities as directed
    • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
    • Report for scheduled shifts promptly and be prepared for work
    • Work cooperatively and professionally with all departments
    • Promote and execute effective retail sales
    • Promote positive client relations for all clients by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service
    • Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards consistent with the management’s standards
    • Report any problems incurred immediately to the Spa Manager
    • Work diligently to support the Coachlight Skin Clinic & Spa hospitality and team philosophy throughout the facility
    • Comply with all departmental and company policies including HIPAA
    • Maintain confidentiality of all Coachlight Skin Clinic and Spa proprietary information
    • Promote positive client relations for all clients by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service
    • Resolve client complaints in a manner which promotes positive client relations
    • Maintain accurate property information through daily use of email and other forms of communication
    • You are expected to help with spa attendant duties including, but not limited to, laundry, taking customers to locker room and making sure the locker rooms, relaxation lounge and treatment rooms are clean and presentable to customers at all times.
    • Open the spa by coming in early at least once per week and help close down the spa at the end of your shift.
