Himalayan Salt Sauna
A sauna offers a reset in a busy world and an opportunity for a meditative experience – requiring us to slow down, think, listen, and feel. A Himalayan Salt Sauna adds additional health and relaxation benefits for our guests. When the Himalayan salt is heated, it releases negative ions which create a fresh, clean, bacteria-free environment and allows our bodies to reap the health benefits including stress reduction, energy increases, mood boosts at a biochemical level and is excellent for the respiratory system. Our body absorbs minerals from the Himalayan salt such as calcium, magnesium and iodine. These elements combined with heat are helpful in reducing respiratory inflammation and other ailments caused by allergies. The heat of a sauna increases our heart rate which increases blood circulation and boosts metabolism. Since a sauna will cause sweat and open pores, toxins can be drained from the body. Saunas will also relax muscles and soothe aches/pains in both muscles and joints and cleanse the skin.

Cooling Rain Experience
To experience the ultimate benefits of our spa, use of the Rain Experience is essential. Our circular Rain Experience has 6 custom settings and helps cool the body between the Eucalyptus Steam and Himalayan Salt Sauna for a full calming thermal circuit. This “circuit” of heating the body and cooling the body stimulates circulation, releases adrenaline and leads to serotonin secretion. Serotonin secretion is popularly thought to be a contributor to feelings of well-being and happiness.
