What to Expect During Your Chemical Peel Treatment

What to Expect After Your Chemical Peel Treatment
The stronger the peel the longer it will take for recovery. After a treatment session, you will notice your skin is more discolored, rough, and spotty. This is natural and temporary. The peeling process starts about 3 to 4 days following the therapy. The nose and the mouth are the most common places to start peeling, although it can happen anywhere.
Minor redness is a common side effects of chemical peels, and it can linger for 3 to 5 days as the skin heals. Some mild discomfort is to be expected but will only be temporary.
