The Importance of a Personalized Skin Care Routine

What is the first step?
Call our the Coachlight at 515.221.4905 to set up a complimentary consultation with one of our seasoned, licensed aestheticians.
What happens during the consultation?
During your first skin care consultation, our aestheticians will sit down with you and ask you what concerns you most about your skin. They will ask you questions as to what your current skin care routine is and if there’s anything you’d like to change about that or if you have questions about some of the products you use versus some of the medical grade skin care products we offer. They will also ask if you have ever had any skin care treatments, such as chemical peels, facials, microderm abrasions or any sort of laser treatments. They will then place you on our VISIA facial complexion analysis machine so you can get a better detailed look at the damaged areas or concern areas of your skin that you may not even be aware of.
What is a Visia Machine?
The VISIA facial complexion analysis session takes just a few minutes to provide you and your skin care consultant with a wealth of information about your skin. It will capture three views of your face and the amazing software does the rest. The VISIA uses multi-spectral imaging and analysis to provide information on 6 areas affecting skin complexion: wrinkles, spots, pores, tone, porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores), and UV spots (sun damage). In addition, VISIA provides a comparison of your complexion and skin analysis to those of other men and women of your same age and ethnicity.
What will the results of this tell me?
The results will give our aestheticians a better direction as to what we can provide you with as to a better direction of the best routine of skin care for your unique skin. This may be laser treatments, chemical peels, medical grade skin care products or a combination of products and treatments to get your skin on the road to Becoming and Staying Forever Young!
